In the physiology class I was wondering what this normal blood pressure was and how did they find out the normal level in the first place? My teacher was not able to answer that to my satisfaction although she did not like my interference. Luckily those days the normal levels were much higher than now. But it became more acute much later due to political compulsions of ruling dispensation at the centre. Governor overstepping his constitutional brief has always been a bone of contention with the state governments, if the state government happens to be of a political outfit not in alignment with the political dispensation at the centre, as it has been happening with the Tamil Nadu government led by DMK with MK Stalin, as the Chief Minister and the Governor RN Ravi, appointed by BJP led NDA government at the centre. U.K moving towards true Secularism London: Britain is undergoing a post-religion era with most of its citizens not following any religion, according to a new survey, reports PTI.  The poll, conducted by YouGov last month with a sample of 1,500 across the British population, including recent immigrants, found almost half (46 per cent) have no religion, up from 42 per cent in February 2015 and from 37 per cent in January 2013.   The figure rises to more than 50 per cent among white British, The Sunday Times reported. The increase in agnosticism is most pronounced among those aged under 40.  “There has been a revolutionary generational change in our religious identity from the norm being Christian to the norm being ‘no religion’,” said Linda Woodhead, professor in the sociology of religion at Lancaster University, who will officially unveil the figures at the British Academy lecture.
