MONTh-IN-PERSPECTIVE

NEW DELHI: Reportedly, the NaMo of 2014, is no more the one in 2019, is a development that needs a closure scrutiny.
We have read about the attack of Madhya Pradesh MLA Akash Vijayavargiya, son of BJP national vice President Kailash Vijayavargiya. He had attacked a Municipal corporation employee with a cricket bat during a demolition drive.
After about a week, Narendra Modi, as PM, so also the as Supreme Leader of BJP had reportedly reacted rather very angrily. Indians are privy to the past responses by NaMo towards the boorish behavior of his party colleagues. He used to express unhappiness and some mild verbal reprimand. Life had gone on almost uninterrupted for these lumpen elements in the party.
Now that he has the people’s renewed mandate in 2019, he has decided to strike it where it hurts. It’s good for the ‘fair’ name of BJP and it’s good for the country as well.
Reacting to the cricket batting by the MLA, where he thought the Municipal official doing his duty, is a cricket ball to be hit, NaMo has reportedly remarked “I don’t care whose son he is, he and his patrons should be thrown out of the party”. This is a very positive development. Hope it happens.
However what is surprising and shocking is, there has been no reaction from NaMo on that barbarian MLA from Ahmadabad, Balram Thawani, who slapped a woman so hard that she fell on the ground and he continued his attack by kicking her and thrashing her and then the ultimate indignity of stamping her face with his boot. This is an offence, unfortunately, even the police did not take note of, whereas Indore MLA was at least arrested and then bailed out. Both these characters should have spent time in jail for some days at least.
This is clearly a selective response from NaMo. Is it because he is a fellow Gujarathi! Hope PM Narendra Modi sets the record straight by reprimanding this clearly brutish Ahmadabad MLA.

UTTARAKHAND: There was this print media report “BJP expels Champion from party for 6 years”. BJP MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh with a title Champion attached to his name was found dancing with two pistols and a rifle. Dancing was video graphed and posted on the social media. BJP leadership woke up after seeing the video and expelled him for 6 years from the party.
Alright, he was found dancing with his licensed weapons. It was not illegal arms. But dancing could have created a safety and security concern. Get his weapons’ license suspended or even cancelled, but there was no need to expel him from the party. How will this action affect him politically is not known, but could it be for the gallery only?
Or else, there were bad men, in BJP, who are MLAs and acted very badly and violently with public, they should have been expelled from the party, but party didn’t, for whatever reasons.
MLA Balram Thawani is a barbarian incarnate. He slapped, kicked and stamped the face of Neetu Tejwani, a woman, for only asking about water in her area. Probably on admonishing he goes and ties Raakhi to the hand of the lady. This barbarian should have been dismissed as an MLA and thrown into jail. No such thing happens. Not even a verbal reprimand! Then this Akash Vijayavargiya treats an Indore Municipal employee like a cricket ball. He hits the Municipal staff with cricket bat.
At least he has been arrested and presently on bail. If declared guilty his political life is finished. But he is still in the party.
Balram Thawani is a Gujerathi, Vijayavargiya from MP, and Champion form Uttarakhand.
Is it the domicile that decided the reprimand Mr. Amit Shah!

UTTAR PRADESH: On 20th July, a national paper had in one of its pages five stories of killing and other form of violence, where one or the other had died. Was it a reflection of the state of the country? It was very distressing to see how our people, our governments and our media acting and reacting to the happenings in and around the country.
Of the five reports, the one from Lucknow was highlighted the most by the paper. It was about the gunning down of 10peoples by the village headman in north U.P.
Prominence was given to Priyanka Vadra of Congress Party. She is both the daughter and sister of former Congress presidents. So, was the news paper too was joining the political party in politicizing the shootout! It was some land dispute, but turned horrendous by this mass killing. Yogi Adityanath was duty bound to put all these men behind bar without delay. He himself took 3 days to visit the place. In UP unlawful happenings are so often that it is almost normal, and CM of the state may not be particularly worried about it. That’s a sad reflection of the state of affairs in some parts of the country.
Then the page contained the news about the death of 3 men, beaten over suspected cattle theft. This dimension is becoming increasingly happening with BJP coming to power. The mob behind such heinous crimes is still not being seriously dealt with. That’s another sad dimension of evolving India.
Road rage by spoilt brats of rich and powerful is another, worrying report of the emerging New India. ‘Teen rams Mercedes into vehicle, jawan killed’, was the report. Travelers’ paradise Goa is also increasingly appearing in the crime news in media. Killing of Scarlet, a fifteen year old girl from Scotland, was found dead over 11 years ago on Feb, 18 2008. She was drugged, raped and left to die on the beach with face down on sand. From police to forensic men joined hands to protect the accused Samson D’souza and closed the case as accidental drowning. But it was the mother of the dead girl who persisted and insisted on fresh autopsy. It was found then there was ecstasy, cocaine and LSD in the body of the teenager with extensive evidence of sexual abuse, and some 50 cuts and bruises. How can Indians be so bad?!
Terrorist strike in Jammu & Kashmir is another regular feature on the Indian landscape. Reportedly a PDP leader’s security detail was shot dead outside a mosque when Mufti Sajad, a PDP leader was inside the mosque in prayers.
So this is Yeh Mera India.

UTTAR PRADESH: There was this report datelined Lucknow "14 year-old boy allegedly tortured in police custody; 3 officers suspended". Manish Gautam, the 14years old victim was apprehended on suspicion of theft was allegedly tortured by station incharge Rajneesh Verma, head constables Dinesh Tripathi and Sandeep Singh in Telibag police station. Based on medical report of the boy the trio have been suspended by Sr.Suptt.of Police Kalanidhi Naithani. This is fairly fast for the police to have acted on their own men in matter of days. This kind of prompt and decisive action will surely send positive signal to law abiding citizens. Two cheers to likes of Kalanidhi Naithani.
Unfortunately such examples are few and far between. Look at the financial capital of India, Mumbai! Mumbai is the capital of Maharashtra, like Lucknow is the capital of UP. Both states are governed by the BJP led NDA. On 12th July 2018, a 17years old was picked up on the alleged theft of a mobile. The police in Dharavi police station, a suburb of Mumbai, tortured this youngster for over 24 hours with no food & water and released him in unconscious state, to his grieving parents. The boy died in Sion Hospital on 27th July and was shifted to JJ Hospital mortuary and his body has remained there since then. His parents have refused to take his body from the mortuary, of their only son, because Dharavi police station has refused to file an FIR against those policemen who tortured young Sachin Jaiswar. Police have refused even to provide details of CCTV footage on an RTI query, after close to a year. It's now one year and no action by the police is forthcoming. Parents of Sachin are helplessly going in circles to get justice to their dead son. What an unremitting tragedy? Is there no conscience left in police and even civil society of Mumbai! Can't the court take it up Suo Moto, to make the police accountable? Is this the Modi's NEW INDIA?! Oh poor Mother India!

UTTAR PRADESH: This idiocy called forcible chanting of ‘Jai Sri Ram’ has to stop. If it’s something that is forced by BJP or Sangh Pariwar outfits, people concerned, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his deputy Amit Shah has to come out openly to condemn this. Even Maryada Purushotham Lord Ram would be deeply hurt and disappointed by this violent method of his so-called followers.
This forcible recitation should be forcibly stopped. If BJP wants to become a Pan Indian political choice, then this aberration from its rank and file has to stop. May be then, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh allow BJP to take root in these states. Otherwise BJP has to forget its growth in these southern states.
What is disturbing is the selective response by the power that be. BJP is growing, but growth should not bring disquiet in its trajectory of rising acceptance.
RSS also should condemn such forced recitation of anything on anybody, be they reluctant Hindus, or members of other faiths practiced across the country. It has to be accepted that BJP especially has elements including its Bajrang Dal & VHP cadres who are bit of rogues and therefore need to be pulled up. Law must stringently take its course to send the message that law prevails, no matter who is the culprit.

GUJARAT: CBI was described in the past as Caged Bird of India. This euphemism is not an over exegeration. All political parties have used it to serve their political purpose. Despite the rhetoric to the contrary, the premier investigation organization has its positives as well.
In recent times there have been accusations that NDA government or the Centre, led by BJP has been using CBI to settle political scores of the past. And comes this news about a former Member of Parliament Dinu Bogha Solanki having been sentenced to life imprisonment by the special CBI court for the murder of an RTI activist in 2010. Solanki was elected on BJP ticket and may be, he would have been given ticket this time too, but for the case.
However what is important and therefore significant is, the case has moved fairly fast in comparison to many other pending criminal cases involving politicians. Although murder took place in 2010, this Ex-M.P could be arrested only in 2013, since the police in Ahmadabad did not include his name in the list of accused although he was the key accused. It is to the credit of CBI that, it didn’t spare this BJP MP, despite the crime branch detectives in Ahmedabad giving this then MP from Junagadh, a go-by.
There are other six persons, including a nephew of ex-MP Solanki and a police constable, who have been convicted to undergo life term.
RTI activist Amit Jethwa was gunned down on July 20, 2010 for exposing illegal mining in Gir forest involving this BPJ M.P
Thus to accuse CBI of complete surrender to the ruling clique is misplaced. For the record CBI has sent one of their very own from the ruling party behind bars for life.

GUJARAT:State of Gujarat, since some years now was touted as a model state, when it comes to the so-called development. It is referred to as so-called, because it lends itself to different connotations. However what is universally accepted is the empowerment of the last man on the development ladder is the true definition of development of human society.
In fact the whole gamut of governance is there only to empower its population from across the national spectrum. To achieve this empowerment, infrastructures are created, Schools, Colleges, Universities, Health Centers, Hospitals, medical institutions are built and managed with appropriate manpower, industries and other allied activities are developed, not only to provide goods and services, but also to generate employment of men and women, so that it gives income to its people to purchase essentials of living, so also allow them space to make reasonable choices for consumption. Development of agrarian activities are of paramount importance, since they create rice, wheat, millets and other cereals meant for human consumption. But the end of it all is the ultimate empowerment of man on the street, the aam aadmi. So, it’s the ever improving Human Development Indices that determines a society, as developed, developing or under developed.
And the fact of the matter is India is a developing country. This state of affairs has remained there for all these post independent years for varieties of socio-economic and political reasons.
Hope one day India will be classified under developed nations’ category.
However coming to the story of Gujarat, there is this story in the print media “7 choke to death in Gujarat Septic Tank”.
If this is the story of the so called model state of Gujarat what could be the state of other states within the Union of India! As we complete 72 years of independent India, it’s a sorry spectacle to see the dead body of these 7 men who entered the man-hole of a hotel alive but never returned. Hotel owner reportedly closed the gate of the hotel and ran away.  According to the report datelined Vadodara hotel owner called the workers at night to clean the septic tank without any safety gadgets.
This is the, Nth time that such an incident leading to accident has happened in our Mera Bharath Mahaan. Unfortunately we are poor learners, especially when it comes to the life of those who are in the margins of our development story.
MAHARASHTRA: BJP government or for that matter, all governments, whether federal or state, are not in love with environment. They all want development at all cost. It helps the country and their contractor friends and cronies. So in the process, if the environment goes for a six, so be it. No wonder Bombay High Court has reportedly quashed the CRZ approval to the Rs 14000 crores coastal road project. A Mumbai datelined print media report informed that the CRZ clearance granted by the Maharashtra government on the BMC’s ambitious project has been cancelled by the Bombay High Court, stating that there was “serious lacuna in the decision making process and lack of proper scientific study."
According to the Chief Justice Pradeep Nandrajog and his deputy, BMC cannot proceed with the work of 29.2km long coastal road project connecting Borivali in the north and Marine drive in south Mumbai. Reportedly clearance under Environment Impact Assessment has not been obtained, so also permission under Wildlife Protection Act: 1972 was also not obtained.
The project was challenged in Bombay High Court, by activists, fishermen and residents. Court clearly feels that proper scientific study has not been carried out by the BMC, and therefore bench cancelled and set aside the approval granted by Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority, so also the approval granted by the Ministry of Environment and Forest.
The court also did not stay the court order for the state government to go to Supreme Court. Thus Davendra Fadnavis government and the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation have to give another serious look into the project. Hope the government both in the state and the centre plays its role in a responsible way.

MAHARASHTRA: If anyone has any query on why Air India is in bit of a mess and always in the news for all wrong reasons, here is one.
There was this news in the print, datelined Mumbai, “Air India Pay Salary of Rs: 2.8 crore to a former Staff”.
Reportedly, debt ridden national carrier Air India which is in red since a long time for varieties of reasons of sub-standard management, have been paying salary to a former Joint General Manager for some years without realizing the mistake.
Captn. Atul Chandra was a former Joint General Manager (JGM) of Air India. For the past few years, he has been working as Chief Flight Operations Inspector for the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), hence Air India should have removed his name from the payroll. May be it was left to some junior officer to do the correction, but apparently none bothered. But there should be some seniors who are entrusted with the responsibility of approving payments. Clearly they too didn’t do their job with a sense of responsibility. Kiska baap ka kya jaatha hai! Whose father’s what goes! He blindly signed and it was merry go round. The former JGM quietly received the salary from Air India (AI), while receiving salary from DGCA also. Kiska baap ka paisa hai, let me enjoy!
Probably it went on for years and the figure ballooned to Rs: 2.8 crores, that is Rs: 280 lakhs. For salary expenditure on a single individual in a public sector enterprise, this is a huge sum.
Now that it has been found out and this former JGM has been issued with a show-cause notice, the beneficiary of the AI mistake, has disputed the amount. Hope both former JGM Captn Atul Chandra and Air India will sort out the issue in coming days.
However, what the report does not say, if people responsible for this apparent inefficiency of Air India, if any official has been issued with a show cause notice. This too is another dimension of public sector management. Air India is owned by government of India, and therefore its employees are government employees, so clearly nobody is bothered who is responsible for this faux pass and life had gone on like this interminably. No wonder Air India is in a mess, when its staff, whether junior or senior are incompetent to manage its dwindling resources. Clearly they are working only for their personal benefits rather than the interest of the organization as well.

KARNATAKA: While there are many instances of questionable judgment of the highest court of the land, this particular judgment should disturb the justices for a long time.
We are all witness to the Naataka (drama) being enacted in Bengalooru, the capital of Karnataka state administration.
There is this twitter from one Dr. Praveen Patil says it all. “Supreme Court is a joke. A year ago in 2018 SC hears a case at midnight and gives BJP just 24 hours to get enough MLAs to support it in Karnataka! A year later in 2019 SC takes 2 days of hearing and gives another 4 days to Congress to stop MLAs not supporting it”, was the twitter post.
As is becoming increasingly clear, this funny coalition of Congress and JD(S) in Bengalooru, will not survive anymore. Too many contradictions in the coalition, only to deny the power to the party with largest number of seats.
In the 224 house, BJP had 105 MLAs with Congress having 76 MLAs. Congress surrendered its interest to JD(S) with only 39 seats. Of course, it was the power hunger of BS Yediyurappa of BJP that went for a spin, since SC gave it only 24 hours to cobble up the number of 113. Congress and JD(S) managed the coalition only after complete surrender by the Congress to the Devegowda family owned outfit of JD(S).
In the event JD(S) got Chief Ministership and the money spinning Ministry of PWD. Clearly this has upset the local Congress leadership and one year down the line the latent discontent is blowing on the face of Congress High Command.
Apparently this government is there only for sharing the spoils of power. It has failed to give even a modicum of governance for the last 13 months. They simply do not deserve to be there. This government is already tottering with falling numbers below the majority mark and therefore should be dismissed and Presidential rule imposed.
Under the circumstances, only fresh poll is the solution, to get a stable government. Hope it happens soon in the interest of Karnataka.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  KARNATAKA: Writing on the city of Mangalooru, an English news paper had, “Dengue” as the top news, highlighting that over 70 places infested with mosquitoes were cleared. But the question is why the civic administration had to wait dengue to arrive and attack its citizens. But then it is quite normal for us ‘to dig well only after fire breaks out’. Another news was, how building sites were becoming mosquito havens. But then, the knowledge that ‘still waters in unclean areas always breed mosquitoes’ is as old as rain. Clearly, builders were sleeping along with the civic administration.
The news about volunteers from Ramkrishna Mission (RM) braving rain to clean parts of the city is as old as the Modi government. Responding to Swatch Bharat call by PM Modi, RM has been active in clearing the mess in some part of the city every Sunday. On Sunday last, they were seen even clearing the garbage on the road side dump sites. It’s a shame that city administration, collecting specific cess for the cleaning up-keep is dependent on social organizations like Ramakrishna Mission. Mission is not a religious outfit but a service organization with its own brand image. There are any numbers of allied organizations, but do not take interest in such activities. PBD’Sa a well known face of PUCL in Mangalooru, has been vocal about praising Ramakrishna Mission and questioning why others do not follow the example of RM. It’s a good question for the health-both spiritual and physical-of the city.
At the end of the page was a report on the interactions between faculty and scientists of College of Fisheries and local fishing community. Reportedly they were talking about making Mangalooru, a floating tourism hub. What an irony with so much of garbage floating all over the city, due to an inept and inefficient civic management, attempt to welcome tourists on the lines of Mangalooru becoming a smart city?
The truth is Mangalooru cannot become a smart city for obvious reasons. India is a messy democracy with indisciplined citizens who give a damn to the dos & don’ts of civic life. And it cannot have an administration better than its citizens. We will continue to remain also-rans in the evolution of human society.

KERALA: For the left governed state of Kerala, controversy is not new. Whether it is the sister Abaya Murder case of decades ago, of Sabirimala imbroglio of recent origin or theBishop Franco Mulakkal rape case or the burqa banning by Muslim Education Society, there have been many issues in the public space which kept its busy print media busier than ever.
And comes this prominent news “Kerala’s Catholic Church facing unprecedented crisis of confidence”, in the print media. Ascribing to the decision of Pope from Vatican to reinstate the Major Archibishop Cardinal Alancherry who had vacated his temporal office under cloud.
Father Alancherry had earlier been divested of all administrative responsibilities following allegations of impropriety in land deals on behalf of archdiocese in which he is supposed to have made financial windfall.
Of course these kinds of financial irregularities are not confined to Kerala churches only. In recent times, an activist, Robert Rosario from Mangalooru has taken on the church leadership of Mangalooru diocese for irregularities in record and maintenance of receipts and payments of some churches.
However in Kerala, reportedly, the laity is up against this Archibishop Alancherry. Besides Pastoral Council of Ernakulam, Angamaly Sysian Catholic Archdiocese, so also Kerala Catholic Youth movement are demanding the ouster of Father Alancherry. But, the Kerala Catholic Bishops’ Council, reportedly backing this controversial Alancherry.
Surely prima facie there is this unprecedented crisis of confidence facing the church in Kerala. Something that Christian leadership should address fair and square.
WORLD:Except Pakistan, all those countries who were beneficiaries of Chinese investment politics of proliferation will not remain ‘friends’ with China. They are experiencing the cost of this investment friendship of China.
The latest to join the crowd of increasing number of disillusioned nations is Maldives. Former Maldivian President Mohd. Nishad reportedly remarked that the cost of Chinese projects was extremely high and that from 2020 onwards 15% of Male’s budget will have to be spent on paying back the debt owed to Chinese companies.
China with its huge financial clout, presently experiencing crunch in the demand for its produce, is trying to use its latent money power to earn revenue by way of taking up infrastructure projects in financially vulnerable countries surrounding Indian archipelago. This is also a strategic approach to unnerve Indian political leadership.
In the garb of helping the economies of these smaller nations, China was actually enslaving these countries financially. Whether it is Pakistan, Srilanka or Maldives, now have understood the trick China has played on them. But Pakistan is apparently helpless, due its political priorities, also of being an adversary of India. It may not be surprising that Pakistan can become a satellite of China. But neither Srilanka nor Maldives, would like to surrender their political sovereignty to China.
Its time China rethinks its strategy to improve its revenue.
WORLD:Indian leadership may be having visions of becoming super power in coming years, but it should keep itself open for learning from others, including smaller nations and even adversaries.
It was way back in 1994 when a former Vice President of World Bank, Moeen Qureshi, was made the care taker Prime Minister of Pakistan. He initiated some fundamental reforms to transform Pakistan’s economy.
Among them were imposition of direct taxes on powerful landlords, both on their landed property and income from agriculture. He also amended election laws to make it mandatory for all those who were seeking election to get certified from public sector Banks and utility services stating there is no amount due in respect of any state or financial institutions. His care taker government had, as a measure of clean politics, published the names of all defaulters which had greatly embarrassed the political class of Pakistan.
Surely none of the above has happened in India. Now comes, the latest Prime Minister Imran Khan. He has been talking about austerity and cutting cost in the administration of Pakistan.
He is clearly walking the talk. He has reportedly checked into the residence of Pakistani ambassador in Washington to avoid expensive hotel stay during his visit to U.S capital early this month.
It may have security implications from the U.S point of view, but Imran Khan has succeeded in sending the message, that he is all for cutting avoidable cost. This is indeed commendable for Pak Prime Minister to do, especially when Pakistan is passing through its financial bad days. This is something that Indian politicians should learn to practice for the public good. We are witnessing the ugly show of money power, when our Karnataka legislators are staying in Five Star hotels in Mumbai furthering their agenda for crumbs of power.                                                                                             Indeed for Indian political class there is enough to learn from other countries, including Pakistan, if only they keep their eyes and minds open.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    WORLD:  International Court of Justice has given a 15-1 verdict that Pakistan is wrong in many counts, on Kulbushan Jadhav. Prima facie, it was an open and shut case.
Kulbhushan Jadhav was kidnapped from Iran, by agents of ISI Pakistan. He was hoisted with all kinds of espionage charges and tried by a military court, whose verdicts were reversed by Peshawar high court left right and centre, in the past. It was out and out a lost case.
However, having lost to Indian diplomacy on global forums and nearer home to Indian Security forces, it was the only way they could try to salvage the political morale of its political class. It is becoming increasingly clear that Pakistan is losing the battle there too.
In the 15-1 verdict, the lone dissent was from Pakistani judge Justice Tassaduq Hussian Jillani, a former Chief Justice of Pakistan. This has comprehensively exposed Pakistani designs.
However, what is of concern and therefore disturbing is what is the response of Iranian authorities on the kidnapping of Kulbhushan Jadhav from its territory, and if India has ever asked for any explanation from Iran.
There is no information in the public space on this aspect of the whole episode. Hope someday Indians will know the Iranian version of Kulbhushan Jadhav episode.

WORLD: “NY cop won’t be charged in 2014 choking death of Eric Garner,” was a New York/Washington datelined news in the print media. What is new about it? In United States of America, a land and champion of freedom and equality, for a white policeman to go unpunished is fairly normal, when the victim or the dead is a non-white. There will be enough and more to interpret their law to suit the acquittal of the racially biased white man to go scot free. And the government in Washington tries to give lessons to other nations on human rights and tolerance. This is like wolf reading the scripture.
Eric Garner was caught allegedly for selling loose cigarettes. The force used by policeman Daniel Pantaleo to just detain him choked the African American to death. His cry “I can’t breathe,” caught on the bystander video, didn’t force the white policeman’s grip to be loosened and Eric died breathless.
In 2014, when it happened New York grand jury declined to charge the policeman. But on 16th July 2019, the white policeman Daniel Pantaleo was cleared of any federal criminal charges.
This is a clear violation of Eric Garner’s human rights and therefore this acquittal is a disgrace. His death had fuelled the rise of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement.
It is sad, whether it was Barack Obama, a coloured man himself or Donald Trump or those umpteen occupants of the White House, the lot of blacks, African Americans, continued to be at the receiving end of white policemen’s cruelty across the United States of America.
This is indeed very sad, given the oration of most Americans as sentinels of human rights and freedom.
WORLD: Donald Trump, supposedly the world’s most powerful man, is perennially in the news for all wrong reasons. But surprisingly he seems to relish it, to walk from one controversy to another, with equal élan. The latest is the barb at one of ‘United States’ closest friend and ally Great Britain. Both U.S. and Britain have always harped on a special relationship between them. But under Donald Trump, as the U.S. President, this special relationship is clearly slipping into bit of a crisis.
Sir Kim Darroch, (SKD) the British ambassador to the US has resigned post Donald Trump outbursts. SKD had cabled, like all diplomats, his impressions on the administration of President Trump. These impressions are not meant for public consumption. They are, as usual, meant for his bosses in the British cabinet. But some vested interest leaked it to some interested media members.
These cables reportedly described President Trump as ‘inept’, ‘insecure’ and ‘incompetent’ and dubbed his administration as ‘dysfunctional’.
Diplomats routinely send dispatches back home, giving true impressions of the country they are accredited to, but they are top secret. But quite frankly, these observations are open secrets when it came to President Trump. Media in U.S itself is far more harsh in describing the disfunctionality of the U.S administration under President Trump. But having learnt of the published cables, President Trump, called the ambassador Darroch “is wacky and a pompous fool” and derided Prime Minister Theresa May saying “How foolishly May has handled Brexit,” since she defended ambassador Darroch. But since the possible new Prime Minister Boris Johnson didn’t back the ambassador, while on a TV debate, SKD put in his papers. Thus reportedly President Donald Trump not only plays a disruptive role at home but he tends to unsettle things in friendly countries as well. So we have the world’s most powerful man, as media calls him, is ‘a half wit’, who is hoping to comeback to power in 2021. If this happens, then you are tied to this so-called “diplomatically clumsy and inept” man until 2025. Is it an invitation to disaster!?
